Remembrance Rocks

Dedicate a personalized stone engraved with the name of the individual(s) you are remembering. Engrave your family’s name, memorialize a loved one, commemorate a special occasion, or recognize a cherished pet. The library will place each rock in the library’s reading garden (or you may reserve the garden to place the rock yourself). Remembrance rocks create a permanent legacy, all the while helping the library raise funds! 

Expectations of Service

These naturally occurring river rocks are unique in appearance. No two will be alike. Each rock will accommodate at least a 4” x 8” of surface area for text. Text will be a minimum of 1” tall. Our engraver will hand-select the rock that best suits the text and spacing of each order. Requests for certain rocks, such as pattern, size, shape, or color, are unable to be granted. The library will send orders to the engraver in batches of at least five rocks. Timeline for installation of each rock will vary and exact receiving dates cannot be guaranteed. The library will contact the purchaser once the rock has been received.

*Reserve the library reading garden for two hours during library hours of operation (to be scheduled with the library, at their discretion, with at least one-week notice). This is an opportunity to gather with loved ones, reflect and remember, and place the rock in a preferred location within the garden. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in the library garden, but will not be provided.
